Royal Victoria Rifles (2), by T. K. Pinches, obverse: diademed head of Queen Victoria left, ‘Royal Victoria Rifles, Established 1835’; reverse: crowned skull and cross-bones within a wreath of oak and laurel, with circumscription, ‘Presented annually by Capn. Ellis for the Best Rifle Shot’ (Won by G. T. Lee Esqr. 1848’), 37mm., silver-gilt, indistinct hallmarks on obverse, one-time mounted, slight edge bruising and contact marks, very fine; another similar, reverse: crowned skull and cross-bones with a wreath of oak and laurel, engraved around the circumference, ‘Erith Medal 12 July 1848, Won by D. Sinclair’, 37mm., silver, hallmarks on rev. for London 1848, ball and ring suspension, with ribbon, very fine (2) £120-160
