State sword, either the Sword of Spiritual or of Temporal Justice (both are identical), octagonal pierced pommel, quillons curved towards the point, doubleedged blade, hallmarked Birmingham 1936, the sword is part of the Coronation regalia housed with the Crown Jewels in the Tower of London, it was probably made to commemorate the Coronation of Edward VIII (cancelled or of George VI (May 1937)
