Private A. F. Riches, Surrey Yeomanry, is mentioned in the War Diaries for 23 August 1916 as having his horse killed from under him when on patrol with Lieutenant Bell between Provista and Razolivos in the Struma Valley, Salonika. Sold with copied extracts from the War Diary covering Lieutenant Bell’s patrol.
