Joseph Morris was killed in action at Tourville on 17 July 1944, while serving in the 2nd Battalion, Monmouthshire Regiment. Aged 19 years, he was buried in the Bayeux War Cemetery, France; sold with a recent photograph of his gravestone and full details of this action from the regimental history.
