Private Arthur Edward Clements, 5th Battalion Suffolk Regiment, died as a prisoner-of-war of the Japanese on 6 March 1943, aged 23 years. He was buried in the Chungkai War Cemetery. Sold with named condolence slip and the card medal forwarding box addressed to ‘Mrs F. M. Alcock, Low Road, Repps, Nr. Gt. Yarmouth’.
