NAVAL REWARD 1653, silver gilt copy of the largest size with integral loop for suspension, 57mm x 53mm, very fine

Four medals of this size were ordered by Parliament to be struck in gold in commemoration of naval victories over the Dutch in February, June and July 1653. They were presented to Admirals Blake, Monk, Penn and Lawson.
