Charles Louis Aulaguier, a motor engineer by profession, was born in Hammersmith, London in June 1894 and entered the Royal Naval Air Service as a Petty Officer Mechanic in January 1915, when he was attached to the Armoured Car Section - his service record is endorsed with ‘Service in Land Operations’ stamps for 1916 and 1918, and he was appointed Leading Mechanic in November of the former year. His final appointment was as Sergeant Mechanic in the Royal Air Force; sold with copied service record.
