Captain Gordon Williams, 8th Battalion, The Welsh Regiment, died on 15 November 1918, and is buried in Lubumbashi Cemetery, Democratic Republic of Congo, one of only two Commonwealth burials of the 1914-18 war in that cemetery. Mention in despatches not confirmed.
