USA, New Orléans, Quarter-Dollar (presumably valued at 25 Cents, c. 1812-14), a cut quarter segment of a Spanish-American 8 Réales (perhaps a Mexican Revolutionary issue), one side countermarked with federal eagle within a circular border, nouvelle orleans raised within a circular indent around, other side countermarked pb (Planters Bank) surrounded by a raised chain border within a circular indent, 6.35g/98.0gr (cf. Garrett 2031). Coin very worn, countermarks fine to very fine, extremely rare £2,500-3,000
