Roman Imperatorial Coinage, Mark Antony, P. Sepullius Macer, Denarius, c. 44, veiled and bearded head of Antony right, capis behind, lituus in front, rev. desultor on horseback galloping right, a second horse by his side in background, wearing conical cap, holding whip aloft in right hand and reins in left; palm frond and wreath behind, 3.58g/2h (Crawford 480/22; RSC 74). Very fine and lightly toned, rare £250-300
