William Edwin Collings was born in Devonport on 26 May 1866. Entering the Royal Navy in June 1887, he attained the rank of Chief Engine Room Artificer 2nd Class in 1900. Awarded the L.S. & G.C. in 1904 at Tamar (Hong Kong). Died of phthisis in the Royal Naval Hospital at Portland, 19 November 1904.
Edwin Owen Knight was born in Liverpool on 16 May 1867. Entering the Royal Navy in April 1889, he attained the rank of C.E.R.A. 1st Class in March 1905. Awarded the L.S. & G.C. in 1904 at Vivid (Devonport). Pensioned in April 1911.
James Smith was born in Chatham on 27 October 1867. Entering the Royal Navy, he attained the rank of C.E.R.A. 1st Class in April 1905. Awarded the L.S. & G.C. in 1905 on the protected cruiser Leander. Pensioned in February 1912. Recalled, August 1914-June 1917 when he was invalied wth arteriosclerosis. Smith died in the R.N. Hospital Chatham on 25 June 1921. A
