Rowland Henry Horseman was born on 25 June 1883 and enlisted in the 1/6th Battalion Notts. & Derbys on 26 April 1908 and re-engaged for an additional 6 years in March 1912 and then again in February 1914. Served in the Great War from 28 February 1915 to 22 December 1918. Transferred to Class ‘W’ Reserve for the purpose of working in the coal mines. Awarded a Good Conduct Badge on 14 November 1916. He died in Chesterfield in 1929. With copied service papers.
