Frank H. Larock was born in Brandon, New York, U.S.A., on 26 March 1889. A Labourer by occupation, and a former member of the New York Heavy Artillery, he enlisted in the 77th Battalion at Cornwall, Ontario, in September 1915. Subsequently transferred to the 87th Battalion (Canadian Grenadier Guards), he was killed in action on 21 October 1916 during the battle of Regina Trench on the Somme. He was buried in the Adanac Military Cemetery, Miraumont; sold with copied service papers.
