Edward Ball, miller, wife’s name Johanna; Samuel Crawford, fellmonger, wife’s name Elizabeth. The letter
r stamped on the obverse of the Borough halfpenny, a feature present on several specimens seen by the cataloguer, may refer to the token being officially redeemed
