Charles Tueart enlisted on 24 August 1914. Serving with the West Yorkshire Regiment he entered the France/Flanders theatre of war on 4 January 1915. He was discharged due to sickness on 1 April 1919.

With named card box for W.W.1 medals and St. John Ambulance Association medallion. With slips to accompany the 1914-15 Star and British War Medal, these bearing the address, ‘Mr Chas. Tueart, 54 Carville Rd., Byker, Newcastle on Tyne’. Also with copied m.i.c. and roll extract.
