Private Ellis Shingler, King’s Shropshire Light Infantry, entered the France/Flanders theatre of war on 20 December 1914. Later as a Serjeant in the Machine Gun Corps he was mentioned in despatches (London Gazette 28 November 1917). Later served as Company Quartermaster Serjeant in the M.G.C. With copied m.i.c.
Medal to Moorhouse attributed to 2nd Lieutenant Harry Moorhouse, 10th Battalion Worcester Regiment, who was wounded in action and later awarded the Silver War Badge (note: other officers with this name and initial in 1918 Army List). Lieutenant R. E. B. Willis served in the 3rd Battalion Royal Warwickshire Regiment. Appointed Lieutenant 1 July 1917.
