Thomas William Godfrey Smith was born in Fulham, London, and resided at 78 Bramber Road, West Kensington. He served during the Great War with the 2nd Dragoon Guards in the French theatre of war from 15 August 1914. He died of wounds, 22 March 1918, and is buried in Roye New British Cemetery, France.

Robert Scott served during the Great War with the West Riding Regiment and the Worcestershire Regiment, he was discharged from the latter due to ‘Wounds’, 19 February 1918.
