Basil Every Teague was born in Truro, lived in Waterloo, Liverpool and enlisted at Liverpool. Serving in the 10th (Scottish) Battalion Liverpool Regiment, he entered the France/Flanders theatre of war on 1 November 1914 (m.i.c. incorrectly states ‘1/11/15’). He was killed in action on 28 February 1915 (m.i.c. states ‘D. of W.’). He was buried in Loker Churchyard, West-Vlaanderen, Belgium. With copied m.i.c. and casualty details.
