Henry VIII (1509-1547), Second coinage, Groat, York, mm. voided cross, bust D, omits tw by shield, cardinal’s hat below, saltires in forks, 2.13g/10h (Whitton i, a; N 1799; S 2340). Some surface corrosion and scratches below shield, otherwise good very fine with a strong portrait, very rare £400-£500
