Obverse: diademed and draped bust of Artemis right, bow and quiver at shoulder

Reverse: (ηγ)ησιπολισ: forepart of stag right, head turned back; palm tree behind, bee and ethnic [ε-φ] in field

Metal: silver; Chian weight standard; 5.04g/12h

Condition: Good extremely fine, well struck up and with light iridescent toning; an exemplary piece of late Classical numismatic art £6,000-£8,000
