Three: Sergeant A. Flawn, Royal Field Artillery, who died on the Western Front on 9 September 1914

Albert Flawn was born in Derby in 1881 and attested for the Royal Field Artillery at Northampton on 28 June 1904. He was promoted Bombardier on 18 May 1908, and Corporal on 12 June 1911, and served as a Sergeant with 32nd Brigade during the Great War on the Western Front from 23 August 1914. He died on active service on 9 September 1914. He has no known grave, and is commemorated on la Ferte-sous-Jouarre Memorial, France.
