A large colour print of the aftermath of the Battle of the Alma, 20 September 1854, entitled ‘Foes Yesterday, Friends Today’, showing a group of Seaforth Highlanders comforting a wounded Russian soldier, in an artistically stylised setting, mounted in a large glazed display frame measuring 845mm x 670mm, of dubious historical and artistic merit, but otherwise good condition

A large colour print of the Charge of the 21st Lancers at Omdurman, 2 September 1898, entitled ‘A Second Balaclava Charge’, showing a good overview of the battle, with many of the key events of the day noted, including the death of Lieutenant R. S. Grenfell, and the gallant action of Captain P. A. Kenna, V.C., published by G. W. Bacon & Co., London, mounted in a large glazed display frame measuring 830mm x 635mm, good condition (2) £40-£50

The Highlanders in the Battle of the Alma print are Seaforth Highlanders, not Gordon Highlanders
