18th Century Tokens, Dudley, Spence’s mule Halfpenny, from the same obv. die as previous, rev. conjoined heads of man and ass, edge grained, 9.31g/6h (DH 17a). Weakly struck, otherwise extremely fine, reverse with diffused original colour and much as made, of the highest rarity; the first specimen seen by the cataloguer, no others traced £300-£500
