The interior fitted with six broad leather straps, the red baize lined lid with a large printed trade label for Holland & Holland 98 New Bond Street London and featuring the Arms of the late Prince Consort. The exterior leather casing with stout brass corner-pieces, brass lock and plate and brass reinforced carrying handle. The lid with an inserted leather panel, ‘W. V. Lumsden Argyle & Sutherland Highlds.’, very good condition £300-£400
