Although unmarked, the Jewel has been electronically tested with a reading of 18.2ct

The weight is 19.12g, the number 5795 is the year of the Masonic calendar which predates the Gregorian calendar by 4000 years signifying this jewel was made in 1795. This seems strange as the Hiram Lodge No. 7 was founded in Franklin, Tennessee, USA in 1809 - 14 years later!
