Michael George Thomas Williams attested for the King’s Royal Rifle Corps, and served with the 2nd Battalion in South Africa during the Boer War, and subsequently as a Sergeant during the Great War on the Western Front from 13 August 1914. He was killed in action on 14 September 1914; he has no known grave, and is commemorated on La Ferte-sous-Jouarre Memorial, France.
