British Iron Age, CATUVELLAUNI, Tasciovanus (25 BC - AD 10), silver Unit, X Box type, verl in the angles of crossed wreaths, lozenge at centre containing x, rev. boar bounding right, tas above, 1.24g/11h (ABC 2628; VA 1796-1; S 236). Surfaces somewhat granular and with a slight edge chip at 6 o’clock, otherwise very fine and toned £150-£180
