65th (2nd Yorkshire North Riding) Regiment, Officer’s Shoulder Belt Plate, c. 1830-55, rectangular gilt back plate with silver mounts, the Crown of State over a scroll ‘India’, below, a Tiger passant regardant, on the ground below the tiger another scroll ‘Arabia’, regimental number ‘65’ at base, gilt very worn, some wear to mounts, numerals ‘65’ loose, plugging around the numerals indicate an earlier mount, otherwise a scarce plate £150-250
