A Hand Coloured Pencil Sketch of an Ensign of The 24th Foot, contained in an elaborate moulded gilt frame, 58cm by 52cm, the top bearing a small silver badge in the form of the Sphinx surmounting ‘XXIV’, reverse of frame with an indistinct old paper label ‘This likeness is taken of an Ensign in H.M. 24th Regt in the Punjab’; together with a needlework tapestry, representing the badge of the 24th Foot, framed and glazed, 36cm, by 32cm good condition (2) £80-120
