Lieutenant Colonel John Malcolm Brodie Sanders, M.C., Leinster Regiment (Adjutant, 1/5th Battalion, Manchester Regiment) served in Egypt 25 September 1914 to 30 April 1915, Gallipoli 1 May to 26 August 1915, Egyptian Expeditionary Force, 20 January 1916 to 31 October 1918. He was wounded during the Great War, and in the Second War served in the rank of Lieutenant Colonel with the Royal Engineers Movement Control Section.
