Roman soldier attempting to prize open the mouth of a lion, 49mm (MI 613/22; E 277); Executions of the Dukes of Monmouth and Argyle, 1685, a white metal medal by R. Arondeaux, bust of James II upon pedestal bearing crowned arms, rev. Justice stands over decapitated bodies, 61mm (MI 615/27; E 281) [2]. First somewhat spotted, otherwise very fine and rare, second with some corrosion on reverse, fine (£70-100)
