Lieutenant Richard Millet Crux was a clerk in the military accounts office in Lahore prior to joining Lumsden’s Horse. He served in ‘B’ Company Transport. Following his Regiment’s departure, he remained in South Africa and served as a Lieutenant in the Johannesburg Mounted Rifles.
