Victor Baron Barnett, a native of Cricklewood, London worked at the Stock Exchange prior to the war. He was killed in action at Loos between 25 and 27 September 1915, whilst serving with the 12th Battalion, Northumberland Fusiliers. He is commemorated on the Loos Memorial, France. His photograph appears twice in The British Jewry Book of Honour.
