A Fine Indian Helmet, Moghul 17th Century, the bowl of deep form, the upper part deeply fluted rising to an ornately chiselled ball finial, the lower part of the bowl having a broad band of superbly excecuted floral chiselling, the large nasal guard decorated en-suite, traces of gold damascening, remains of hinged fittings for cheek and neck pieces, some wear and minor damage but good condition for age and a rare helmet £1500-2000
