Bank Melli Iran, proofs (2) showing the coat of arms of ‘The National Bank of Persia’ which quickly changed to Bank Melli Iran, as used on the reverses of all the first and second issue notes, particularly the 1000 Rials of the second issue, which features the arms facing both ways, as here, each backed on card, as produced, very rare (2 proofs)
