William Albert Barker attested into the Cheshire Regiment for service during the Great War and served on the Western Front. He transferred into the Labour Corps, and then the Royal Engineers and died of pneumonia on 23 June 1919. He is buried in Etaples Military Cemetery, France.

James McAllister attested into the Cheshire Regiment for service during the Great War and served on the Western Front with the 3rd Battalion. He received a Gun Shot Wound on 30 August 1918 and later transferred into the Royal Air Force in May 1918.
