George Hill attested into the Cheshire Regiment for service during the Great War and served on the Western Front with the 5th Battalion from 14 February 1915. He was wounded on 20 December 1916 and was eventually discharged on 24 April 1919.
Henry Holt Lloyd attested into the Cheshire Regiment on 12 August 1914 for service during the Great War and served on the Western Front with the 1st Battalion from 2 January 1915. He was discharged as a consequence of wounds on 13 June 1916 and awarded a Silver Badge, No. 50006.
