The recipient’s 1914-15 Star, British War and Victory Medals were sold in D.N.W. 6 December 2006, lot 791.

Alfred Cole, the son of Alfred and Elizabeth Cole of Lewes, Sussex, died in India on 27 October 1918, aged 29 years, and was buried in the Delhi War Cemetery.
