Edward III (1327-1377), Third coinage, Third Period, Noble, mm. cross pattée on rev. only, chevron-barred as, double saltire stops both sides, rev. large e in centre, 7.52g/10h (SCBI Schneider 3; N 1110; S 1481). Cracked in centre and at 4 o’clock, repaired on reverse at 12 o’clock, otherwise good fine, very rare (£400-500)
