Charles I (1625-1649), Tower mint, Shilling, Gp A, mm. lis, similar, rev. cross-ends fashioned as on the Laurels of James I, 5.73g/12h (Sharp A2/2; SCBI Brooker 391, same dies; N 2216; S 2782 var). Obverse with some faint hairlines, good fine, reverse very fine, the reverse variety excessively rare; only three specimens believed known (£400-500)
