William Barrable served as an Able Seaman aboard the Revolutionnaire at Stachan’s action on 4 November 1805, and in the same rate in the boats of the Bellerophon at the capture and destruction of seven gun-boats and twelve merchantmen by a British squadron at Percola Point, Baro Sound, Finland, on 7 July 1809. Approximately 34 clasps were issued for this boat service action.
