Edward Farlow was born in Devonport, Devon, on 13th January 1832. He entered the Royal Navy in March 1853 and served aboard H.M.S. Pelorus, June 1857-December 1862. Sold with a quantity of copied research including service papers, roll extracts and Surgeon’s Log from H.M.S. Pelorus, January-December 1861.
