Sold with silver medal inscribed, ‘Boxing B.W. Rfn. Stripp, A Coy.’ and ‘Army of Occupation, 18th/60th, Germany 1919’, 38mm., hallmarks for Birmingham 1917; and with an enamelled K.R.R.C. Association lapel badge.
George Edward Clifford was born on 25 March 1914. He enlisted in Birmingham in July 1940. With the K.R.R.C. he served in Egypt, October 1940-July 1943; Sicily, July-August 1943, and Italy, August 1943-March 1945. He was discharged on 11 February 1946. Medals confirmed. Sold with the recipient’s Soldier’s Service and Pay Book containing his discharge certificate.
