A good helmet plate centre style pagri to the South Wales Borderers (slider missing); 9th Lancers a late Victorian unmarked silver sweetheart’s brooch; Imperial Russian Army an officer’s hat badge in gilt and silver plate featuring the Imperial eagle cypher laurel and oak sprays; South African items including a glengarry badge to the 8th Infantry Transvaal Scottish; a KC cap badge and ID tags for Sgt M Skinner SAMC; together with assorted buttons (basic issues), plus some excavated items these include an officer’s flat silver plated coatee button to the 43rd (Monmouthshire Regiment/Light Infantry) (Firmin & Westall back mark 1794-1811); a small East Kent Volunteers coatee button (1803-08); a 10th (North Lincoln) regiment o/r tunic button (poor) and a very small interesting thin brass rectangle stamped ‘23rd Regt’, sold as viewed (parcel) £160-200
