Leslie Herbert Stokes Bishop was granted a commission as a 2nd Lieutenant in the Surrey Army Cadet Force in December 1954. He was advanced to Lieutenant in December 1956; Acting Captain in April 1960, and Acting Major in July 1981. He was awarded the Cadet Force Medal (London Gazette 31 January 1967); a Second Award Clasp, serving in the Greater London (S.W.) Sector (London Gazette 27 May 1975) and Third Award Clasp (London Gazette 25 October 1983). Sold with copied research.
