Arthur Johnson enlisted into the Army on 27 January 1896. As a Corporal in the 2nd Company, 8th Division, Army Service Corps, he entered the France/Flanders theatre of war on 5 November 1914. As an Acting Squadron Quartermaster Serjeant in the A.S.C., he was discharged on 11 September 1918 due to sickness and awarded the Silver War Badge. Sold with copied m.i.c. and S.W.B. roll extract.
