Provenance: 8300 bt W.B. Neilson July 2006.

Fred Karno, the pseudonym of Frederick John Westcott (1866-1941), theatre impresario based at Walworth, London; among those who worked for him were Charlie Chaplin and Stan Laurel. The show
Moses & Son was first performed in Birmingham, where David Magnay thought the pieces were probably issued (which is why he classified them as Warwickshire), before going on tour. William Mayon, furniture dealer, 10-11 Holloway head, fl. c. 1872-87
