Double Island Issues, Montserrat-Tortola, Quarter-Dollar, a lightweight cut quarter segment of a Spanish-American 8 Réales, obv. countermarked with m thrice raised within a square indent, and tortola raised within a shaped indent [type I/b, late die state], rev. countermarked with Montserrat design raised within a shaped indent (partly worn away after Tortola countermark applied), 4.56g/70.4 gr (Prid. 43 [Sale, lot 237]). Coin worn and cut down in size, removing nearly all of one of the m countermarks, remaining countermarks fine, very rare £300-400
