Guadeloupe, ——— Forty-Five Sous, a cut quarter segment of the Nine Livre Dollar (after the central square plug had been removed), derived from a MEXICO, 8 Réales, Mexico City, assayer th, cut from the rev. with crenated edges and countermarked on the obv. with a crowned g thrice raised within a shaped indent and once on the rev., 5.33g/82.3 gr (cf. Prid. 20; VG 28; KM. 34, note). Coin fair, countermarks fine or better, probably a contemporary forgery, note the unusual number of stamps £100-150
