Mbulayi, B.S.A.), this last officially corrected in places, generally good very fine (4) £80-100
Benjamin J. S. Mbulayi was born in Zwimba, Sinoia in 1924 and was educated at Garoyi and Kutamam Schools. Enlisting in the British South Africa Police in July 1944, he served for long periods at Dett and Fort Rixon and, at the time of his retirement in September 1969, was stationed at Mangwe. Awarded his Colonial Police L.S. & G.C. in November 1962, he later added the Rhodesia General Service and Police L.S. & G.C. Medals to his accolades, the former by way of a late claim in July 1981 - hence, most probably, the erroneous rank of Staff Sergeant, a rank that did not exist in the Force; sold with related research, including copied retirement notice.
